Roy started Crossfit in 2012, although intimated at first Roy was hooked after his first WOD. In High School, Roy played baseball, was a member of the power lifting team, and was an all district Cross country runner. Crossfit lifts reminded Roy of the high school weight room during his powerlifting workouts. Fitness has always been a big part of his life. Crossfit showed him he was training for life through performing functional movements that he performs on a daily basis. Roy is a very passionate Coach and enjoys seeing members thrive in meeting and exceeding their fitness goals.
